Today I started learning IDL programming.  This is difficult because I had no programming experience, but I am picking it up quickly.  I also researched a little bit on active galactic nuclei (AGN).  Over the summer, I will work with more analysis of AGN, but I still do not know exactly what.  Hopefully I will learn more tomorrow.
